Electrical/electronic is a secondary qualification
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for the installation, repair and/or maintenance of equipment, machinery and processes for the Production and R&D Departments as well as the Facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
A minimum of five years maintenance in a manufacturing environment
Must have experience in repairs and maintenance of machines and mechanical systems
Experience in electronics and electrical work is an asset
A definite asset: experience in working with data entry to databases and to MS Office programs
Must have additional experience in 3 out of 5 of the below areas:
Excellent written and oral communication
Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment
Must have excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills
A demonstrated ability to be innovative
Ability to work with limited supervision
Demonstrate positive attitude and self-motivation
Technical diploma, ticket or equivalent in the trades is a must
